Day-Ahead Optimal Scheduling of an Integrated Energy System Based on a Piecewise Self-Adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

The interdependency of electric and natural gas systems is becoming stronger. challenge how to meet various energy demands in an integrated system (IES) with minimal cost has drawn considerable attention. optimal scheduling IESs ideal method solve this problem. In study, a day-ahead model for IES that included electrical system, hub (EH), was established. proposed EH contained detailed models the fuel cell (FC) power (P2G) system. Considering non-convex complex problem, piecewise self-adaptive particle swarm optimization (PCAPSO) algorithm based on multistage chaotic mapping it. objective minimize operating IES. Three operation scenarios were designed analyze characteristics under different coupling conditions. simulation results showed PCAPSO improved convergence rate stability compared original PSO.
